My Engagement Ring

This is my new sparklie ring! Got it last night. It has beautiful Sapphires & Diamonds... See the Diamond. Can you say Woo Hoo for me... I have a guy who has awesome taste, he's hot, and I LOVE him!!!

So today is better in "my world"! We went & played with sparkly things this past weekend. It was very fun. I was shocked that we had pretty much matching taste, and I was shocked to see that he had taste...LOL It was a lot of fun!
Then he had to work on the car. You can tell who Cracker likes better as she snuggles up to him while he is working on the brakes. He loves his new painting. Trust me it was much better than the one that the ex had hanging on the wall.. I'm so glad it is gone!!!
He took me & the kids to Super Dawg.. Yum
I guess that is it for now. Not enough time to add more stuff, but there's always another day. Can't wait to get a picture of the new sparkly thing!!! If he's smart he'll pick one up quickly! I'll keep ya posted!

Birthday Weekend

I had a really great birthday weekend! I got to spend it with the new boyfriend and my family. He took me downtown to Chicago to ride the Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier. He also took me to dinner at Bubba Gump. Boy was it awesome! Spent part of the weekend at his son's football stuff. Saturday took us to my area for a BBQ with my family that came up from Southern IL. It was great weather and great fun. Here are some pictures. It was great to hear Dad sing and play the guitar. It was great having Rich there, afterall he is only the second guy I've ever brought home to meet my Dad. As far as Dad is concerned, Rich can stay. Dad had no fatherly warnings for me. LOL
